US Consulate General Hamilton is pleased to announce that eleven U.S. colleges and universities will host EducationUSA Academy participants across the United States in summer 2020.
The EducationUSA Academy, a pre-college academic enrichment program for international high school students, is an additional effort by the United States to recruit the world’s best and brightest students to pursue a future degree in the United States. Through two-to-four-week programs, the EducationUSA Academy prepares 15- to 17-year old students from around the world to submit strong applications to U.S. universities through college preparatory content, academic English courses, campus visits, and cultural enrichment opportunities. The Academy creates a new pathway for international high school students who may not otherwise have considered attending university in the United States by providing them with the information and skills necessary to become successful students at U.S. higher education institutions.
The following U.S. college and university campuses will host EducationUSA Academy sessions in 2020: Diablo Valley College (California), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Florida), Northwestern University (Illinois), Syracuse University (New York), Temple University (Pennsylvania), University of Colorado Boulder (Colorado), Boston University (Massachusetts), St. Cloud State University (Minnesota), St. John’s University (New York), University of Tennessee-Knoxville (Tennessee), University of Wisconsin-Madison (Wisconsin). Potential applicants can apply directly to the institution of their choice. Please refer to each institution’s website for more information about the program, applicable fees, and application procedures and deadlines, which can be found on the EducationUSA Academy website:
