The U.S. Consulate General in Hamilton, Bermuda, will conduct a nonpartisan absentee voting workshop and registration drive for U.S. citizens residing in Bermuda on August 5, 2016 at:
the Chubb Building (former Ace building)
17 Woodbourne Avenue
From 11 Am – 2:30 PM
The participants will be introduced to the Federal Voting Assistance program (FVAP) and will be able to get assistance to register for absentee ballots from their respective states.
Computer terminals will be available for this purpose.
The Federal Voting Assistance Program, or FVAP, is charged with providing assistance and outreach to U.S. citizens living outside of the United States. FVAP’s purpose is to: ensure overseas citizens are aware of their right to vote and have the tools and resources to successfully do so – from anywhere in the world. FVAP recommends using the online Voting Assistance Guide available at http://www.fvap.gov/vao/vag
