U.S. Consulate General and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Donate Water Supply for COVID-19 Support

This morning, U.S. Consulate General Hamilton and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency donated a supply of bottled water to support COVID-19 relief efforts as the Government of Bermuda continues to combat the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

U.S. Consul General Karen Grissette and CBP Port Director Cletus William expressed their appreciation to the Government, Ministry of Health, and all essential workers for performing an extensive list of services which has helped to keep Bermuda safe. “The public testing sites and vaccine locations continue to play a big role in Bermuda’s success in managing the spread of COVID-19. We extend our gratitude to the Government and those operating the public testing sites over the long holiday weekend with this small donation” says U.S. Consul General Grissette.

“Over the past year, U.S. CBP has donated supplies and equipment to support shared security cooperation, relief efforts and essential workers. This is another small token of our appreciation to the Government of Bermuda, and we wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday,” says Port Director William.

The U.S. Consulate General, U.S. Customs Border Protection and the broader U.S. community in Bermuda, thanks everyone who is working to manage the crisis and doing their part to protect themselves and others.
