Event: COVID 19 Update – Continuation of Curfew
Note: The following information remains in effect until further notice. The U.S. Consulate is resending this notice to assure widest possible dissemination of this information, and for the benefit of those who just recently registered with the Consulate.
The Government of Bermuda confirmed 22 cases of COVID-19 in Bermuda, as of March 29.
Effective at 8:00pm on March 29, the Government of Bermuda has instituted a curfew from 8:00pm to 6:00am. For full details, visit the Government of Bermuda COVID-19 website.
All U.S. Citizens currently in Bermuda who wish to return to the United States are asked to please inform the U.S. Consulate of your potential interest. While there are no known repatriation flights scheduled at this time, it is a fluid situation and we want citizens to be informed and prepared in case an opportunity presents itself on short notice. In the event that a flight becomes available, we will inform you directly. We will also share flight information with the general public. If you are interested, please email the U.S. Consulate at hamiltonconsulate@state.gov and provide:

–date of birth
–address
–passport number and expiration date
–full contact details (phone (preferably a local phone if possible), email, address).
If you have previously informed the Consulate of your interest, you do NOT need to contact the Consulate again.
Effective March 24, U.S. Consulate General Hamilton suspended routine consular services. For emergency American Citizens Services, including emergency passports, please email hamiltonconsulate@state.gov. Anyone with questions or concerns may also call the Consulate at 441-705-0424 between 8:00am– 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. American citizens can contact a representative at the Consulate outside of normal business hours, for emergency purposes only, by calling 441-335-3828.
