Harvard Performs Free Public Concert for SCARS

Bishop Nicholas Dill and U.S. Consul General Mary Ellen Koenig invite all ages to attend a free lunchtime concert at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity (‘Anglican Cathedral’) on Tuesday, March 14th at 12:00 noon, featuring the Radcliffe Pitches and the Harvard Krokodiloes. This is the 10th year that the Harvard a Capella groups have performed publically in Bermuda to support a local charity.

Both groups will perform classic, “pitch perfect” tunes to support Bermuda’s SCARS charity, which will accept voluntary donations at the concert. One hundred percent of the donations will go to SCARS, which aims to reduce the risk of child sexual abuse.

SCARS believes “that if by reducing the number of sexually molested children in our community, there will be a reduction in drug abuse, alcoholism, teen pregnancies, mental illness, self-injurious behaviors, eating disorders, promiscuity, violence and suicide.”

Come out and enjoy an upbeat, humorous performance from the Kroks and Pitches, two of Harvard University’s oldest a cappella singing groups who perform all over the world.
