The Consulate participated in a series of events in partnership with the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) for Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), Nov. 13 – 20. To highlight BEDC’s 10th anniversary of participating this global initiative, which is celebrated in over 150 countries, the Consulate invited two American speakers to participate in a series of Bermuda’s GEW activities.
Along with the U.S. Consul General Mary Ellen Koenig, the visiting speakers participated in the following events:
- The Bermuda Economic Development Corporation Entrepreneurship Education Awards
- The Annual Rocket Pitch Competition
- Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Breakfast at HSBC Harbourview and Special Luncheon hosted by Consul General Koenig at ‘Cedarhurst.’
- School visits included: The Berkeley Institute, CedarBridge Academy, Saltus Grammar School, Mount St. Agnes, The Whitney Institute.
