These programs are augmented by local opportunities in countries around that world that allow non-U.S. citizens to explore U.S. culture and the English language. Studying in the United States Becomes More Popular
Bermudian students contributed to the 7% increase in international student enrollment at U.S. colleges and universities last year. During the 2012/13 school year, Bermudians studying in the United States increased by 4.4% from 389 in 2011/12 to 406.
You can intern with U.S. Embassies around the world and in Washington, D.C. while you’re at school. eInternships with U.S. Government agencies give you real experience working with government offices in the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Broadcasting Board of Governors, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Education, etc. eInterns work about ten hours each week directly with their office to do research, social media, website design, data visualizion, reporting, teaching, and much more!
The US-UK Fulbright Commission was created by treaty on 22 September 1948. The Fulbright Program aims to foster mutual cultural understanding through educational exchange between the US and the UK. This it achieves through its Awards program for US and UK citizens and through its Advisory Service. The Fulbright Commission offers grants at postgraduate and postdoctoral level for study in any discipline and at any accredited institution in the US and UK, as well as a number of special exchanges programs for shorter projects or for younger scholars.
