Earth Day 2018

Saturday, April 22 marks the 48th Annual Earth Day celebration where communities all over the world will participate in cleanup efforts and promote reducing the use of harmful plastics. Mismanaged waste pollutes the environment and flows into our ocean, affecting marine health everywhere. Marine debris, including microplastics in the ocean, can lead to declining global fish stocks, and costs billions of dollars to fisheries, tourism and other industries.

By 2050, we may have more plastic than fish in the world's oceans, by weight. We're all responsible for protecting the environment. Let's do our part locally by helping to maintain the beauty of #Bermuda! #EndPlasticPollution #EarthDay #April22
