Business Hours
The American Consulate Bermuda is open Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. except for all official American and Bermuda holidays.
Most consular services (such as American Citizen Services and Visas) now require appointments which must be booked on-line through this website. Also, you will be asked to present valid photo I.D. to the guards in order to enter the Consulate on any business.
Picking up and/or Dropping Off Forms and Documents
If you have been instructed by the Consulate to pick up and/or drop off certain documents and forms at the Guard Building you may do so, Monday to Thursday from 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. excluding American and Bermuda holidays.

Location/directions
The American Consulate is located at “Crown Hill” 16 Middle Road in Devonshire, between Corkscrew Hill and Montpelier Road. If you are coming from Hamilton we are off the Reid Street extension onto Middle Road (Cavendish Rd.) on the right hand side. If you are coming from the east, the consulate is just past the Arboretum on the left hand side. Generally, there is no public parking allowed at the consulate, this includes motorbikes. Our visitors are allowed to park at the parking lot located to the west of the consulate building on Middle Road in Devonshire.
If a visitor to the Consulate is challenged in any way which significantly restricts their personal movement, that person, and an escort (where necessary), may be granted vehicular access inside the Consulate property to allow immediate access to the Consul lobby. Such permission must be requested and granted at least 24hrs in advance of their anticipated arrival. Guards on duty will not offer physical assistance, but may open doors or otherwise assist with entry or exit.
