“Humpback Whales” screening at Paget Primary School

On January 19, Consul General Koenig hosted the viewing of a documentary on Humpback Whales at Paget Primary School. The school’s science committee, sponsored by the Global Learning Observation to Benefit the Environment Program (GLOBE), organized the screening where students demonstrated the importance of keeping our ocean, reefs and air clean.

Independence Day Celebration 2016

The U.S. Consulate’s 240th Independence Day celebration was held at Consul General Mary Ellen Koenig’s official residence, Cedarhurst, on June 30th. Approximately 400 invited guests attended the three-hour event, including Governor George Fergusson, Premier Michael Dunkley, numerous Members of Parliament, and other Bermuda government officials.

Huntertones Reception 2016

Consul General Mary Ellen Koenig hosted approximately 75 young leaders from Bermuda on January 18 in honor of Martin Luther King Day. The young people represented a wide range of leadership from student leaders to young business leaders, as well as outstanding volunteers in the community, Youth Parliamentarians, sports champions, and others.
