On April 25, the U.S. Consulate will take to the airwaves, appearing on two radio shows, first on the Sherri Simmons Show, MAGIC 1027 FM at 12:30 pm, then on the Shirley Dill Show, VSB 106FM at 2:00 pm. Questions will be answered by U.S. Consul General Mary Ellen Koenig, Consular Chief Mila Millman, and Customs and Border Protection Port Director Cletus William. Phone lines will be open to discuss topics including passports, visas and waivers. Listeners can tune into the Sherri Simmons segment online via the MAGIC website.
“Ask the Consul” is a program airing in a live, call-in format that provides listeners with the opportunity to ask questions and discuss travel or citizenship issues. It will provide information on existing and new regulations and serve as an adjunct to the website, https://bm.usconsulate.gov/.
Participants who wish to suggest topics for future shows may send an email to the Consulate’s general delivery mailbox at email@example.com. In the subject line, please put “Ask the Consul.”
Following the radio appearances, the U.S. Consulate will launch its first Facebook Q&A session where consular questions will be answered on the Consulate’s Facebook page – usconshamilton. The public is encouraged to log on between 1:00 – 2:00 pm on May 2 and join the conversation. For more updates, visit the Consulate’s Facebook and Twitter profiles @usconshamilton.
